Our Western, ‘civilized’ society is driven by capitalism. It determines our goals, addresses our greed, seduces us to consume, and has an exhausting effect on our ecology. With Homunculus Economicus, I went back to the earliest stages of capitalist conditioning, where children are getting prepared to become the future perfect consumer.
